SPMU Aftercare

SPMU Brows

The aftercare procedure is really important, it is as important as the treatment itself. Please follow the instructions to every detail.

The correct aftercare procedure is necessary to achieve the best results. If this is compromised in any way this will affect your healed result.

Keep in mind that in many cases some unevenness of colour is to be expected. This is the purpose of the top up appointment.

  • You may experience the following for 72 hrs after your treatment.

  • Tenderness

  • Dryness and itchiness in the treated area

  • Puffiness.

For the next two weeks (14 days):

NO SWEATING, NO SWIMMING, NO SUNBATHING, NO SUNBEDS, NO SAUNAS, NO DIRECT SHOWER SPRAY, NO WATER - KEEP THE AREA DRY, NO MAKE UP SHOULD BE APPLIED IN THE AREA.

For the next 2 days, wipe the area with phi wipes once in the morning and then once in the evening and then apply phi bees/Vitamin E ointment wax. For the rest of the 2 weeks dry heal and apply bees wax/ointment once in the morning and once at night every day for 13 days. This is very important to your healed results.

If you do accidentally get the area wet, you must gently pat dry with a clean cotton pad.

Please do not over moisturise the area. We recommend you use a gentle facial cleanser to clean the skin around the treated area during the healing period. Please do not use anything harsh on your face that may run onto the treated area. You must not attempt to apply any make up, creams, ointments onto your treatment area.

Some itching is normal. DO NOT PICK PEEL OR SCRATCH the treated area as the colour may heal unevenly and you risk scaring and infection. Allow the wound to flake on its own.
