Policies & Guidelines

1. General Clinic Guidelines
• We do have a waiting area, however, to safeguard treatment privacy and maintain a calm environment, we kindly ask that clients arrive no more than 5 minutes before their appointment.
• Please attend alone. We do not allow additional guests, including children or pets, unless the child has their own booked appointment and is accompanied by a parent/guardian.
• Please use the hand sanitiser provided on entry and follow hygiene instructions as directed by staff.

2. Health, Safety & Medical Disclosure
• You must inform us of any changes to your health, allergies, pregnancy status, medication or medical conditions prior to each treatment.
• Treatments may be postponed if we determine that proceeding could put you at risk — your safety is our priority.
• Curlita Beauty cannot be held liable for any adverse results or complications where aftercare advice has not been followed.

3. Consultations & Patch Testing
• Consultations are mandatory approx 2 weeks before for specific treatments and include patch testing where required (e.g., skin treatments, Semi-Permanent Makeup).
• Patch testing and consultation must be completed a minimum of 48 hours prior to treatment.
• It is the client’s responsibility to arrange their consultation and patch test.
• If you attend for treatment without attending a required patch test/consultation, your treatment cannot proceed and will be charged as a missed appointment, in line with our cancellation terms.
• Appointments must be booked in the full legal name of the client receiving treatment.

4. Booking Fees, Payments & Cancellations• A booking fee is required for most services, which is strictly non-refundable and non-transferable, unless Curlita Beauty cancels the appointment.
• Card payments only.
• Cancellations, amendments, or rescheduling within 48 hours of your appointment will incur a 55-70% charge.
• Failure to attend any appointment will incur a 100% charge.
• Cancellation/No-show fees must be paid before any further appointments are accepted.
• Appointments not confirmed via Fresha within 30 minutes of booking will be removed from the diary. A reminder will be sent beforehand.

5. Lateness
• If you are more than 10 minutes late, we reserve the right to cancel your appointment due to safety and timing requirements, and a late-cancellation fee will apply.
• If the treatment can still be performed within the remaining time safely, we will always aim to accommodate, but treatment service and duration may be reduced.

6. Treatment Outcomes & Guarantees
• Every treatment has varying outcomes depending on individual skin responses — no specific results are guaranteed.
• A cooling-off period is always offered following consultation to allow clients to make an informed decision before proceeding.
• Refunds are not offered once treatment has taken place.

Semi-Permanent Makeup
• Any concerns must be reported within 24 hours for assessment.
• Any concerns raised after 4 weeks will be considered a new appointment and charged accordingly.

7. Retail Products
• Due to hygiene and safety regulations, skincare products are non-returnable and non-refundable.

8. Photography & Marketing
• Photographs may be required for treatment records and insurance purposes.
• Any images intended for marketing or social media use will always require your written consent, obtained via your consultation form.

9. Illness / Communicable Conditions
• If you are unwell, experiencing flu-like symptoms, or contagious in any way, please contact us as soon as possible.
• Cancellation fees still apply as our team and facilities will have been reserved exclusively for your appointment.
• We prioritise the safety of other clients and staff, and appreciate your cooperation in preventing the spread of infection.

10. Behaviour & Conduct
• We operate a zero-tolerance approach to verbal, written, or physical abusive behaviour.
• This includes conduct via phone, WhatsApp, text, email, social media messaging, and in-person communication.
• Refusal of service and termination of the client relationship may occur if this policy is breached.

11. Memberships, Packages & Programmes
• Time limits apply. Treatments and benefits not used by the expiry date will be forfeited — no exceptions.
• Benefits are exclusively for the named client.
• Clients must be aged 18+.
• Buy-Now-Pay-Later services (e.g. Klarna) are subject to their own approval processes and policies.

12. Price Amendments
• Prices are subject to change without notice. If pricing changes before your appointment, the updated price will apply.

13. Pregnancy, Medication & Medical Contraindications
• Some treatments cannot be performed during pregnancy, breastfeeding, or when taking certain medications.
• We reserve the right to decline service if contraindications are identified.

14. Patch Test Refusal Waiver
• If you knowingly refuse a required patch test, treatment will not go ahead.
• No-show/late-cancellation fees will apply.

15. Consent & Risk Acknowledgement
• You will be required to sign a consent form confirming your understanding of treatment risks and aftercare requirements.
• Consent must be signed prior to every new treatment course.

16. Photography/Filming in Clinic
• Clients and visitors are not permitted to film or photograph staff or other clients without explicit permission.

17. Complaints Policy
• Any concerns must be raised within 24 hours of your appointment.
• Formal complaints must be submitted in writing within 7 days to ensure fair investigation.
• We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days and aim to provide a resolution within 14 working days.

18. Group & Corporate Bookings
• Larger bookings may require additional booking fees or retainers.
• Cancellation terms will vary depending on the size of the booking and resources required.

19. GDPR & Data Protection
• All personal data is handled confidentially and in accordance with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
• Data is stored securely and only used for purposes essential to your treatment and care.

20. Agreement to Terms
By making a booking or attending Curlita Beauty, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

21. Product Purchases

If anything is missing from your order, please notify us via email info@hannahcurlitabeauty.com within 48 hours of the delivery date and time so we can look into it and put things right. Unfortunately, if we are informed outside of this timeframe, we will not be able to assist.
